This Privacy Policy describes how Icelake AI(“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Icelake, including our website, applications, products, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Icelake is designed to collect as little information as possible. We do not collect or store usage data about your activity in the Service — such as models used, request counts, token usage, or timestamps of your requests. Chat history may be stored locally in your browser or device. We do not maintain a server-side archive of your prompts or outputs for ongoing access after a request is processed, except as described below.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Related: Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The following describes what we collect and what we do not collect:
What we do not collect
We do not collect or store usage data about your use of the Service. This includes activity metadata such as which models or features you use, request or token counts, timestamps of your requests, error logs tied to your account, or similar usage analytics.
Account and billing
If you create an account or purchase a paid plan, we may collect information such as email address, account identifiers, subscription status, and billing-related records. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor.
Prompts, outputs, and local history
When you submit content to the Service, we process it to provide the requested feature. We do not use your prompts or outputs for advertising or model training, and we do not sell that content.
We do not maintain a server-side history of your prompts or outputs for you to browse or restore later. Chat history may be stored locally in your browser or device. We do not control your device, browser, extensions, backups, or other local storage.
Support and voluntary submissions
If you contact us, we may collect the information you choose to send, which may include prompts, outputs, screenshots, or other content you include in your message.
Cookies and local storage
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, security, local chat history, and basic Service operation. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work if you disable them.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Provide support and communicate about the Service
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
3. How We Share Information
We may share information in limited circumstances, including:
- Service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, payments, authentication, and email vendors
- Model or infrastructure providers that process requests on our behalf to deliver the Service
- Law enforcement, regulators, or others when we believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, or to protect Icelake, users, or others
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets
- When you direct us to or give consent
Third-party providers have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for how they handle information except as required by law.
4. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and operate our business. Retention periods vary by data type and legal requirements.
We do not collect or store usage data about your use of the Service. We do not maintain a server-side archive of prompts or outputs for ongoing user access after processing. Information you store locally on your device or browser is controlled by you and your local environment.
5. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and devices.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object to certain uses.
